Eastern Panhandle Single-Payer Action Network presents:
Stumped by Single-Payer Skeptics? Mark your calendar, and don’t miss:
“Talking Effectively About Improved Medicare for All” Thursday. June 7, 6:15-9:15 pm

Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church
100 W. Washington St., Shepherdstown WV

Nationally known labor activist Mark Dudzic* will share the ins and outs of single-payer, to include:

  • why the Affordable Care Act can’t be fixed and why a public option is not sustainable
  • why publicly-funded privately-delivered national improved Medicare for all, with no premiums, deductibles, or copays, is the way to achieve universal healthcare
  • words and phrases that resonate with conservatives
  • talking points about the single-payer bills in Congress
  • answers to your questions

We’ll pass a hat for donations to help defray Mark’s travel expenses.

Forward this message to friends who are WV public employees covered by PEIA (Public Employees Insurance Agency).
During the WV school employee strike, a key issue was the high cost of premiums, copays, and deductibles. As a result, the governor established a PEIA Task Force which is holding a Hearing at Spring Mills High School Saturday, June 9, 11am – 1pm.

Encourage your friends covered by PEIA to

  • testify at the hearing and tell PEIA
    • “In your final report, acknowledge that the only long-term, permanent fix to funding healthcare is through publicly-financed, privately-delivered national improved Medicare for all.”
    • “with single-payer, healthcare would off the bargaining table and off the state budget.”
  • attend the above June 7 workshop to learn the ins and outs of single-payer.
